The lady at the counter was extremely personable and helpful. I had a very smooth experience posting an envelope. On the other hand, the man at the counter wasn't very gentlemanly. He was annoyed with every customer he came across in my 2 visits, which lasted no longer than 10 minutes. Parking is in the town center and An Post is located on the ground floor. The entrance is disability-friendly.

A family member came into this post office to send some Christmas cards this morning and had an extremely stressful experience with one of the staff named Lisa. Lisa was rude to them, discriminating against them suggesting that my family member would not have enough money to pay for the post they were wishing to send. She also was extremely rude about where my family member wanted to send the post. Her attitude was extremely off putting and my family member felt extremely uncomfortable with the way she was being treated. Regardless of how stressful or busy it is during the Christmas period, it is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting to discriminate against someone. I will be filing an official complaint about Lisa's extremely discriminatory and rude behaviour towards my family member. I hope that Lisa will learn to check herself and be kind to future customers. Instead of being discriminatory. I hope that after I issue a complaint an post will issue an apology to my family member. I am extremely upset at this situation.

Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Have been using the post office in Oranmore for years now so know them quite well and they know me. Can be busy at times but once you get to know the busy times service is always quick and fast.
