The post office is located inside the SuperValu, and their hours are as follows: Saturday 9a.m.–1p.m. Sunday Closed Monday 9a.m.–5:30p.m. Tuesday 9a.m.–5:30p.m. Wednesday 9a.m.–5:30p.m. Thursday 9a.m.–5:30p.m. Friday 9a.m.–5:30p.m. Jenna was quite help me and told me the time that they were open till today, I know I could have just googled it but it's worth going in to talk to people. That's our community's built.

Arrived 10 min before closing today. I was met by a very disgruntled woman. She said you know we close at 1pm? I said yes. It was not 1pm at that point. I arrived before closing. She said “this is going to take me a while,” as it was an international package. She asked for the sender’s name, I misheard as she is behind glass and I gave her the recipients name. She then was upset and said “this is ridiculous” I couldn’t believe she was treating me like this. I waited a few minutes and mentioned that there was no need for her to treat me so poorly. My thoughts were this: in my profession I can’t imagine treating someone like this or making comments right in front of them. If I have to work a few minutes late or hours late, I do and it’s no problem. I could not imagine voicing my frustrations in such a way. It’s completely disrespectful and makes customers feel uncomfortable. I suppose this is the difference between the public and private sector. In closing, I am very disappointed in the service. More customer service training is needed and possibly diversity training so the employees know how to treat international customers. As an international customer. I would not recommend this post office.

I see a review per year and totally 3 reviews for this Post Office (An Post) and surprise to see 4.7 stars, I'm the fourth reviewer. I went to send a international parcel to home on a Saturday for which the Post Office is opened up to 1:00pm only. Here are the points to know: 1. Parcel can be sent up to 20Kg, and the weighing machine is small and kept on top of the counter, I took a big cotton box and it was very difficult to keep it on top of the machine. 2. The staff looks at the customer with partiality and I would say she doesn't want to work. 3. I had to send 20Kg, but it was only 17Kg in the box, I requested the lady to take care of the box, and I would get 3 more Kg of items where my house is just 100m away from the Post Office. 4. She collected the money, and gave some stickers, stamps, forms but nothing told what I have to do with that. 5. The tracking system updated with 3 entries for one day and no updates for another 5 days, I approached the same lady and asked about why the update is not there, again she responded with the frowning face to call the customer care. I totally don't understand how these people are hired by this government.

I have ordered deliveries that are meant to be delivered by this anpost on 4 separate occasions. Every single time without fail I receive a failed delivery notice from their tracking system because the delivery guy cannot get past a barrier. The barrier being an electronic gate at the entrance of my apartment block, which also has the sign "electronic gate" on it. If they bothered to call I could have either opened the gate "barrier", or come down and walked a couple of meters to the gate "barrier" to collect it myself. They could have also parked the car and walked past the barrier a couple meters to the door of my house and buzzed my door. When I call to sort out the issue either no one responds or when they do, they are unhelpful and I end up taking the dart over to pick up my parcel my self (usually after waiting at the vacant service window for a good while). Again this has happened 4 times, so while the service is garbage I must commend them on their consistency.

Inconsistent service. Waited for Christmas package for 3 weeks to find that it was as hung up in the Blackrock station. They then dropped a notification in the mailbox without ringing doorbell or stopping to notice there was a parcel box. Something isn’t working.
