A nice post office if you don’t mind waiting a bit (and don’t have lots of parcels). Staff is friendly and will often strike up a conversation with locals. During busy times there is often a line out the door due to the lack of space inside. It needs an upgrade as it doesn’t feel very efficient nor accessible to have to bend down to put your parcel through a small window. They’ll also ask you to weigh your package on the small scale - even when you’ve added the right amount of stamps or written the weight on the envelope. If you are in a hurry or have accessibility needs, I recommend going to the post office at Eurospar on Barrow St.

Very poor customer service. The person working there was more interested in gossiping with her friend for 10 min than serving customers waiting in the queue. And no apology after. I do not recommend this post office. It is better to walk a bit further and experience cleaner and more friendly place.

I waited a few moments in the queue last week while the woman behind the counter talked with an older customer ahead of me - I began to feel impatient then realised I could wait 2 or 3 minutes. I am glad that there are still places where people take a little time to be kind and neighbourly - My gran's trip to collect her pension and chat and connect with local news was often a highlight of her week.
