DPD failed delivery 4 times during a time window of 6 working days . I never had calls from drivers . I wasn't able to change the address of delivery on thier app through manage delivery because they could not find my address, an post drivers knows the area better and they know all the local addresses . DPD don't allow NOTES so that we can prevent miscommunication , and when they deliver the TV , it has a hole in the corner ! the TV wasn't functional by the way so I had to return it . DPD service is very poor in west work ! avoid !!!

Horrible service. Waiting for my parcel for more than a week, every two days they say I wasn't home when I am actually sitting in front of my window for the whole day and couldn't even spot their van passing. The driver also doesn't seem to be able to get out of his own van to try to ring a bell. If he doesn't have my phone number, he never delivers. If you as a customer needs to drive to the warehouse to pick your own parcels, then you can't call this a delivery service at all.

My last order was shipped to the wrong adress, the delivery driver really didn't take any responsilbity when I finally connected with him and my (very honest) neighbours had to bring it over to me. The order before that, DPD left without delivering one of two boxes, I had to chase them up again and they returned the next day with it. As a small business I wouldn't personally use them as its not a reliable service.

Finally received my parcel after being told I wasn't at home when I was sat home all day waiting. I see they cant keep a parcel in good condition either by the looks of things, holes in the package and everything inside wet. IT WASNT EVEN RAINING TODAY. absolute disgrace

I delivered my own Parcel and went around the back and got it into Dpd warehouse then it got delivered back to the company who needed it only with my driving to the actual depot.. I'm officially a courier. Terrible service no confirmation for when the parcel is being collected. No customer service they don't answer. You might get some explanation on email if your lucky after half of a day after 4 days , I delivered it myself amazing it wasn't smashed or damaged 6-7 people pulled up just as I was driving off the same issue all delivering there own parcels...

I give 5 stars to the driver Wayne who was so nice to actually wait for me to come downstairs and collect my parcel. The previous times the driver would buzz the buzzer and just dump the parcel in the hallway, which I found rude and potentially risky as someone else could have taken my parcel. Wayne was super nice and lovely! My review has 3 stars because of Customer Service - I had to phone twice and have the exact same conversation with two different ladies. The issue was my phone number wasn't registered with the correct country code in the website I ordered my parcel from, I guess it automatically gave an Irish phone code. It could not be changed in the system and I had to request several times to put specific instructions for the driver to ring the door bell, not the said phone number. Last thing to note - in the 3 other countries I've lived in, DPD uses electronic devices for the recipients to sign that they've actually received their parcel. If you introduce this here, I reckon the service will drastically improve.

Friday 18th February received text from DPD about goods delivery expecting time between 11.03 -12.03 by Alan, so I was at home ,can see drive way from my window no sign of carrier about 2.pm checked delivery status finded out parcel was delivered at 12.07 signed by myself...so carrier delivered goods to different address gave it to someone else I don't know how is it possible they have scan reader every parcel have barcode on it ,address, air code , phone number, so is really hard understand how this mistake could happend ...anyway phoned Dpd depot 29 Little Island have been told they will pass my phone number straight to driver find out what happened nothing since then then email DPD customer service no one really care about it I would not expect they will find parcel if was given to someone else but maybe just something like "Sorry for this happened ,you have lost your money will improve our service in the future to avoid this kind of mistakes "...Best regards to all DPD team maybe company put too much pressure on their drivers...

Absolutely useless! Got a delivery on the 6th of Dec after it was going back and forth for 4 days only for the driver (Kieran) to leave it out in the rain and the storm at the bottom of the drive.. My electrical item was destroyed so I contacted the seller and complained about this useless delivery service, requested a new one item to be sent. Seller agreed to re send the item but as you can imagine the intellectually challenged delivery driver from DPD decided that he will not deliver my parcel. I'm fed up with this service and going forward I will make sure that I don't have to deal with DPD ever again and would definitely advise to STAY AWAY

I would say that this company disappointed me but to be honest today bad experience is one in row, and I take it as routine ...sadly. The driver didnt deliveted parcel in announced time and lie about it ,we were at home,no one ring the door and we wait all day to get delivery,and now when Im seeking my parcel the DPD worker from office treatening me to not delivery pacel at all and send it back to sender...to PUNISH ME...was I angry ?... yes I was after so many times this company made my day a hell just because of their mess in work.. Dear DPD .. with the standards of your work ,do not be suprised to get angry messages ,if you were working well it wouldnt happen...you jave no rights to treat our parcels as HOSTAGE and not delivery them as your way of revenge !!!!! If this will happen I will take legal steps in my defence ,this is not business approach what you do,this could work in between kids while playing with sand to kick one another and damage sand castle to each other ... not in between adult human beings .

Very rude customer service. Impossible to contact them when I pointed it out to them including screenshot of trying to reach them, lady answering to my email said I keep hanging up and because of that Iām getting bumped at the end of queue which is a lie as Iām getting disconnected automatically after about 1 minute and 20 seconds. Last time they didnāt deliver because they didnāt had full address on the parcel when I mention to the driver that you can clearly see the eircode I was told itās not his job to check it and some drivers donāt have smartphones or internet. When I said that he could call depot to check it for him he had no answer. Customer service tried to blame ānew driversā for my problems but itās the same driver for about a year. I loved DPD when living in Ennis Co. Clare but avoiding them at all costs in Cork.

I received notice of delivery of two parcels to a DPD drop off point. 5 days later I still do not have my parcels. The parcels were not at the delivery point when I went to collect them. I received a second notice of delivery after contacting Head Office, Athlone. I went to the collection point again, parcels still not there. No contact from DPD, No response to emails, the chat line is a joke, they tell you what the tracking record says and then email the depot...no follow up. The Head Office in Athlone, when you eventually make contact are also in effectual. There is something very wrong at this Cork depot. 5 days, no parcel, no contact from DPD Cork, no response to emails. AVOID.

Pathetic. Customer services seem nice enough but can't offer updates because they 'can't get a reply from the warehouse'. My package reached cork twice and got sent back twice. I live a mile from the depot but they couldn't manage that. Awful.

First time receiving a package via DPD, no messing around, got a text to say i would receive my delivery in a particular window, no sooner had that time just begun and the package arrived, very satisfied customer. Also the driver was very courteous ,didn't get his name sadly.

Have had two packages misdelivered to me, despite the eircode clearly seen on the labels. First time dpd said they would pick up the package, but never did. Second time they suggested that we take it to the post office and send it back to them! Avoid this company. Clearly, once it has your money it couldn't care less for its customers.
