Absolutely useless over the Christmas period. The driver "tried" to deliver the package on 3 attempts sent to me from a client. He only barely drove outside the apartment gate and turned back. Never bothered calling me to say he was here. On one occasion my husband was opening the gate of the apartment and told me the driver just drove by without stopping to deliver my parcel. Totally shameful service, he seems more interested to get it done with and go home!

Was calling since 3 pm to receiption to ask where they have left my parcel as it has not been my house. 17:30 I arrive at the reception to find out the girl „left home early today” No wanders since 3 oclock nobody could even pick the phone up. If you the enjoy pure antithesis of customer service you have the right depot, want to ring three times a day for nearly a fortnight with only two pick ups, this is your one stop shop. Want to never resolve a missing parcel!! Boy howdy step right up, they have you covered. Maybe you like unresolved promises like "the driver will call you back" or "we will be in touch later" then this is the best place to be. However, if like myself these things aren't your cup of tea then steer clear but if you are an unfortunate soul who's parcel is missing and your trying to get it resolved come sit here by the fire for a long frustrating wait.

I'm stunned with how bad their service is. I had an urgent order that my supplier sent directly to my customer last Thursday with DPD. It went to the DPD Athlone branch where they sent it to the wrong depot in Wicklow. It should have been Carlow. I talked to Sandra where we clearly agreed it would be delivered on Saturday to my customer. She didn't do this. On Monday I was shocked when instead of apologising, Sandra tried to blame me for miscommunication. Our email threads are evidence that she just had not done here job correctly. Then they told me it would go out on that day for delivery on Tuesday. I asked Blaise to sent me an email confirming this so there is no confusion. Today is Tuesday and It still sits in their depot. My customer is furious and I can't give her any more reasons why this order has no been delivered. No one...and I mean no one I dealt with has said sorry and literally have caused me stress for the last 5 days. My customer is one hour away and they just won't deliver to them. Honestly use another courier service because DPD are a mess .

Can't ship parcels without an account, can't set up an account without being a regular shipper (even though their website says otherwise) and after all that, they won't even pick up on the day you set up the account. You can't drop off parcels at a depot, you can't pay cash....they sure don't seem to want business!

Says on their delivery information that they would leave in a safe place, except for when the delivery driver refused to take the lift up one floor to leave it outside my apartment. The lift is 3 foot away from the front door and my apartment is rite outside the lift. So he left it outside the lift on the bottom floor. Laziness at the highest level. Absolute joke I dread when I see packages being delivered by dpd. Conversation with the driver, could you leave it outside my apartment please, no I’m not walking upstairs, no there’s a lift just inside the door, no I’m not walking upstairs, no there is a lift and my apartment is on the first floor, no I’m not walking upstairs🙈🙈 so thanks dpd for leaving my €600 package in the front lobby of the apartment.

If the lay person were as bad at their job as the general DPD delivery driver they'd be fired on the spot. Scheduled collection of a return for the same day as something else was being delivered so we could be home all day anyways. The delivery was dropped of without notice (shredded to bits but arrived) but they didn't take the collection. DPD then claimed the collection failed because there was 'no contact available' despite the fact the driver is here frequently enough so knows the location, they'd gained access to the inside and dropped the delivery, they had our phone number, knew which door to knock on, and a buzzer to our flat/the building. That's 'driver couldn't be bothered to make any contact' not 'no contact available' Spent ages with the online chat and trying to ring the depot just to be told to 'keep waiting'. We're now on day two of being tied to the house in case they show up with no timeframe given. If they just did their actual job in the first place they'd save a lot of time in the long-run

Drivers from this company park in the disabled parking in Roundwood and possibly other towns. I have often had words with them, they say they are in a hurry. But let me say that even though disabled parking spots are almost always empty, when they are needed they are really needed. When my Mother was alive she had alzheimers, I would take her to Roundwood village and would take her with me as we did some shopping but couldnt sometimes because the disabled spots were blocked, without those spots the walk for her was too much. Very bad service. About the 4th time they have said they attempted to deliver our parcel (different parcel each time, so 4 seperate times) and they haven't even called or come near the house. Later when they called they tried to say that only part of the address was on the parcel and tried blaming us, but they forgot that they had read me my address over the phone and I reminded them that they read the address to me from their system and the person became rude on the phone. Don't like this service and hate when businesses use it as I dread the nightmare that comes with this service. Wish I could give negative stars.

Very poor service. Supposed to get my parcel today between 6-7pm. There was no sign of driver. Checked my delivery status online and what I see my parcel was returned to depot because driver couldn't find my address. Joke he didn't even try to contact me. I gave them all details they needed during order process. Address, phone number even eircode they got. Tomorrow I'm going myself to depot to pick it up and ask them why drivers ignore customers and waste their time. In the past I had got a few parcels from dpd and they were able to find my address no problem. Drivers name: Niall

NO STARS ...This is how DPD Kilpedder deliver your parcels. Throw them over a 7ft gate in lashing rain. Broken boxes which when we discovered them, had disintegrated from being wet through & in a place where we could not open the electric gates inwards from the road. Dispicable company & respond to say that they were damaged in transit & to contact my supplier (1st photo)...So that was Friday 30/09 & unbelievably they returned the next day with 1 more box which was also fired over the gate..again box split & items missing (2nd photo) 11 days later & NO contact from this shocking depot. DPD Irl, is this your worst depot or is this service of our valuable purchases standard across your network ??
