If only I could give zero star. Never show up, parcels go back to depot. It takes ages for them to actually deliver. The only way to get it safely is having the item sent to a pickup point. This time my parcel went back to depot for collection. Really? I think not!

DPD was good a long time ago, recently they are useless. Totally unreliable, email to say that they will deliver a package on a specific day and time , you can stay in all day and they do not show up. No respect for customers what so ever. Can not get in contact with them, will not answer phone calls tracking parcel does not work, they are a discrase to the transport industry. In future I will be avoiding any business that uses DPD. UPDATE, after several several several emails, a few days ago I got a reply from a lady called Annette who said she would look into the problem. I did not hold out any great hopes of the lady getting back to me with any greater news than I had received over the last few months. Today the 24th of May 2023, Annette emailed me to say all was sorted. Well I have not tried it yet to see if it IS sorted, but ten out of ten to Annette for her efforts. Thanks Annette. UPDATED today the 7/6/2023, yes DPD got my phone number correct at last.

Do not even care to change the ''parcel is on van'' status even they already planned delivery on the next or next to next day. Disgusting people.

Some angry little manlet basically threw my parcel at me after stomping around all over other parcels in the back of his van, accompanied by what I'm pretty sure was a cuss word in Polish. Getting a delivery from this company is almost comical, though ironically it makes me want to cry.

I received a message this morning. I was at home. There is no door bell and no phone call. and It shows in the DPD tracking website my parcel was delivered at 12:30. I did not received any parcel and there is no information whereto the driver leave my parcel or to who It is my second time I have this issue with DPD months in a row. DPD has a terrible service ever seen.

Another day wasted sitting in waiting for a DPD delivery only for it not to arrive again. Absolutely useless service, why bother sending a text to say you will deliver and then just not turn up? So sick of paying for next day delivery but DPD overloading their drivers so much that I do not get my package - I note I do not get a refund for the diminished service. Sort your route planning out DPD, you are the WORST delivery service in north Sligo and that is quite a feat. Then they don't answer the phone so you are stuck in limbo waiting for your package. I don't know if I've every experienced service this bad. Anyway there's no one to complain to so I'll call the supplier and maybe DPD will respond to them and find my delivery.

I’ve never had to rearrange a delivery with DPD so I can’t comment on how that might be but otherwise they have always delivered within the time slot given and left parcels in the place instructed. Wouldn’t hesitate to use or recommend them given my experience so far

Got a text stating delivery would be in the next couple of hours. Delivery did not arrive. No further update from DPD. Eventually got through to depot via phone and was advised that the parcel was not delivered because it was dark and the driver couldn't see in the back of the van!! Still not received the parcel and according to the DPD tracking service, my parcel is being held at the depot..... Not happy, specially having paid enhanced delivery charge.

DPD are desperate. It's a pity that you couldn't choose your own couriers. DPD never deliver on time and never answer the phone in the depot. Had to go down to the depot myself to collect my goods on many an occasion. Very poor service......

They delivered the package to the wrong address and were very unhelpful and unapologetic when we told them we hadn't received it. Had to go back to the supplier to get it sorted, no faith in them whatsoever. Very disappointing, the hassle it caused would put me off ordering anything from a company that uses their delivery services again.

Ordered a phone a couple of months back and dpd delivered it. Surprisingly enough they rang the doorbell but when i got up to the door they were gone, they left a FLATTENED box with a BRAND NEW PHONE beside my shed, when i went to pick it up the phone fell clean out, luckily it was working but when i went to open the screen protector it was shattered. They don’t care about your parcels are how fragile they are they only care about getting the job done, worst delivery company in the whole of ireland

They always text me that they bring the parcel this and this time and the parcel never comes. They don't even bother to contact me, just send another text, that they tried without success. I always have to go after my parcel. Customer service is rude sometimes.

Absolute dismal service. Package never delivered in day of scheduled delivery, zero attempt to contact me and even no notice of the “attempted” delivery. Proceeded to wait another two days with zero contact and no idea about that package. Attempted calling about 12 times to inquire and no answer whatsoever. Lazy drivers not bothered to do the job properly and lazy desk jockeys that won’t answer a call.

The told me my item was due for delivery so I waited around in the times they provided. They then text me to include my eir code, which had been provided already. When I done this they told me it would delay the delivery a day. I waited round the following day in the times they provided aswell to not receive my package or any info as to why it wasn't delivered. I tried ringing the depot as it is round the corner from me ans my call rang out on multiple occasions. Very disorganised and not reliable.

Got text at 7am looking for my postcode in Sligo town. Repeatedly tried to send reply but told me it was ‘wrong number’ whatever that means. Got email last night, automated email, seeking same. Strangely when I tried to insert that data it gave me another NON RESIDENTIAL address. As a test used EirCode Code Finder. In three seconds it delivered all the data correctly. Tried umpteen ways to DIRECTLY make contact and update details but does such an option exist…………

Just got off the phone to a lady in the Sligo depot because I was enquiring about a mobile phone I am waiting to be delivered from Eir that had nothing but a email from EIR thanking us for buying a sim , even though the phone wasn't with DPD I have to say her customer service skills are second to none, most would just say not with us and leave it at that but she suggested other thing to check, she was a pleasure to deal with 10/10 service.

Great crowd to do business with, much more reliable than our glorious An Post and cheaper by a mile! example, parcel shipped to Poland 3kg, An Post quoted 55e, Dpd 17.50e, where and how they get this difference is beyond me, but fair play to Dpd. Always collect on time, delivery guys are friendly and flexible, unlike the thick entitled lazy boys from An Post.

Brilliant service. Great customer care. Was sending a big parcel from IRL to Czech Republic. Everything went absolutely smooth from ordering online, pick up to delivery. The package was delivered in record speed( delivered 6 days before the estimated arrival). Not a tiny dent on a package as well. This was my first time using DPD services, and definitely not the last. Uncomparable to other couriers, with which ive had not such rosey experiences in past. Thank you!

I had ordered a school book from DPD and it arrived on time which was great but I wasn’t there to collect it so the driver gave it to my neighbors so that the driver didn’t have to come back again and give it to the right person. I wasn’t that friendly with the neighbors so when I asked for the package no one knew where it was. I called DPD and they were no help they told me they gave it to my neighbor and now my package is missing.Its not worth it
