Terrible service. Always a problem, between them not being open on the times advertised, or them saying they “tried” to deliver your parcel but you “weren’t home”, or they will say the parcel is at the depot for collection and you get there it’s still on the van, always something! And good luck making a complaint on their website. Joke

A delivery of 3 boxes 10 minutes ago dumped on my doorstep, doorbell rang and by the time I got to the door driver was gone. Boxes too big for me to lift off the doorstep so I rang the Waterford office to let them know that the driver should at least wait until the door is answered. Man on the phone was unhelpful and hung up when I said I wanted to keep the boxes. Appalling customer service

Checking online for location of a parcel saw it was in depot and damaged. Called DPD Waterford who said I could come and check parcel if I wanted. I called as items were flower bulbs. Only outside of packaging was water damaged, bulbs inside were undamaged and I accepted the parcel with all bulbs now planted.

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced! We have a business account and on a number of occasions goods have been lost and goods have been destroyed, Dpd refuse to accept responsibility and its a struggle to even get them to answer the phone, the attitude is "We don't care!"

There great to give estimated time for delivery and also having the option to change days of delivery is very efficient. Delivery guys are always very friendly too.

9:30am, May 26th. Guy knocking the door, I swear, he left in less than 10 seconds, I opened the door, looked at him with open arms as to say "where are you going" I swear the driver says "alright man" gives me the thumbs up and drove away. Excuse me ? I'm right here. No package delivered. Lets see later if it comes and we might change the rating. Absolutely horrible and not the first time I've had a bad experience with them. Do not used them.

We have a company account and honestly, have no idea how DPD can still be in business! From "forgetting" to collect packages, to having to wait 40 minutes outside the local depot for a guy to collect the package, to local depots not answering any phones..... and today following up a package that apparently is sitting in a Limerick depot for 20 days as per tracking and they "cant" deliver it (per tracking comment) to "no one at home" (per tracking comment), though three teenagers of the recipient have been at home since January!. The Limerick office wont answer and the Head office in Athlone is unmanned, no answer there after 30 minutes on hold. DPD USING COVID AS AN EXCUSE FOR NOT ANSWERING PHONES 12 MONTHS INTO COVID IS NOT STILL A VALID EXCUSE!

Sent a Christmas present with DPD from Waterford to Dublin, it was due to be delivered on the 18th of December but never got delivered. The one star is because because the staff were helpful when I managed to get a hold of them on the phone, that's it. Overall though, terrible and trying to get a refund is proving to be impossible. Very disappointing and won't ever be using DPD again if I can help it.

We are dealing with DPD well in excess of 10years and were until recently quite pleased with the service. But now we believe too many things have changed in a negative direction over past months. A big issue seems the franchise holder Alex in Waterford who seems to change well established procedures unannounced and all to the detriment of the DPD operation and services towards the customers! When we could not reason with him we requested him to provide his second name allowing us to send a fact-filled & appropriate complaint to the DPD Head Office highlighting the seeming and non DPD supported malpractices in his office; we were clearly informed by Alex that this second name is not relevant. Yes, we did ensure (with comments from the background) he was aware of our feelings, based on which Alex hung-up. We contacted the DPD Hub in Athlone and are now waiting for an urgent reply from Head Office Management as one of our parcels seems held in retaliation in the DPD Waterford office.

Very bad sercice. I arrived there and they asked if I was Santiago, I said yes and they did not asked anything else, they just gived me my parcel that was very expensive. No signatures, no control. Anyone could enter before me and grab my parcel. If you are a company needing transport services, please use An Post. Is much safer.

Called about a timed delivery for a client. Was told the item had to be dropped to the depot. Sent the client out with it and they were told they had to have an account which would take two weeks to setup. What appeared great customer service at the outset turned out to be a lack of knowledge
