I must say, I am extremely disappointed with the Anpost service, especially when it comes to delivering big parcels. I recently had a terrible experience with them, and I can't help but feel that they are resorting to sneaky and deceptive practices. Here's what happened: I was expecting an important package, and I made sure to stay in the office all day, eagerly waiting for the delivery. To my surprise, instead of an actual delivery, all I received was a fake delivery attempt letter claiming that I was not present at the time of the supposed delivery. The infuriating part is that I was indeed in my office the entire time! They didn't even bother to ring the company buzzer or attempt to contact me in any way. It seems like they are taking advantage of this fake attempt tactic to avoid delivering big parcels properly. What's worse is that I discovered I'm not the only victim of this sneaky move. Upon further research, it's evident that many other customers have experienced the same deceitful practice from Anpost. This is completely unacceptable and unethical! As a postal service, Anpost should prioritize the satisfaction of their customers and ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Sadly, it appears that they are more concerned with taking shortcuts and avoiding their responsibilities. I urge Anpost to take immediate action to rectify this issue and improve their delivery practices. They must be transparent with their customers and address the concerns raised about these fake delivery attempts. In conclusion, I am appalled by Anpost's sneaky and dishonest approach to handling big parcel deliveries. My experience, along with numerous similar reports, indicates a deeply rooted problem within their system. Until they demonstrate a genuine commitment to improving their services and being honest with their customers, I cannot recommend their service to anyone. What a shame indeed!

Awful service! I didn’t get my parcels from them not even once! They’re faking delivery attempts - I’m always home and they never ring the doorbell, only deliver their stupid notes after 6 days! And I have to go across the town to get my parcel, even if I have to rent a car to get my big package. What kind of service is that? Also postman always folds my postcards from postcrossing and letters. How can postal service not have any respect for people’s mail?? Absolutely outrageous!

Really frustrating, should be stripped out of "delivery" part in the name: just a collect service. (at least this one in the area) Confirming that they are doing fake delevieries - I am always home during working hours - but neither the bell nor the cell phone was rung. In addition, there was no delivery note in the mail box that day but somehow it managed to apperar 4 days later. Went to the post office and the parcel was sent back to sender. Awful! And that's certainly not the first time that happens to me.

Just got great service from Dublin 8 delivery centre. There was an error with the address on my parcel and it bounced back to the delivery centre. One of the lads (I am 90% sure it was Eddie!) called me, was really friendly, said they had it there and made it really easy for me to pick it up. Painless!

They are completely unbelievable and disrespectful to their clients. I was at home, I answer the interphone, and when I went downstairs to pick up my mail, the guy wasn't there anymore, and no pack was delivered. In the register, they say I wasn't home. How is that? I called them twice, explaining the terrible and unbelievable experience, they said they would deliver the next day by morning, but guess what? nothing was delivered, AGAIN!

Our parcels are never even attempted to be delivered. We always receive a 'failed attempted delivery' on the An Post tracking website a few days before we receive a failed delivery form in our postbox. This is happening over and over again, and to our neighbours also.
