I recently ordered from the UK and DPD was used as a delivery service. They had my parcel in a van for three days going back and forward because they didn't bother to put the correct eircode on it...also they didn't bother to contact me to let me know that they were having problems. Their Cashel office number is always engaged, their Ballysimonn office doesn't deal with North tipperary and they don't advertise their head office in Athlone. When I eventually managed to make contact they insisted that the company I ordered from in the UK hadn't provided .my eircode. This was totally false. Eventually when I got my parcel the delivery guy was also extremely rude. On the bright side I found out that you can request that DPD not be used when you are ordering anything and this is what I will be doing from here on in.

I ordered a phone online. Unfortunately it meant to be delivered by dpd. As I was getting ready the driver stopped by my house. He didn’t knock or anything just left the parcel on the doorstep. That parcel was worth €1500. If I wouldn’t have spotted him the parcel would sit there until I was leaving the house or it would be stolen. It’s not the first time it happened 🙄 if I will have an option I will be picking a different courier from now on!

A DPD driver came to my house, rang the doorbell once and didn't give me a chance to get to the door. Literally waited a minute and gave my next door neighbour my parcel when I was standing at the window. I asked him to give me my parcel and he shrugged, pointed at my neighbour who was running down the stairs and both of them drove off. What if my neighbour was a horrible person and wouldn't give me my parcel? All they had to do was wait for me to answer the bloody door or ring me to let me know they were outside? Fuming as I won't get my parcel now until 8pm tonight when my neighbour comes home or even later.

Package rescheduled by me for delivery to a local shop. Package not delivered at new date/time. No answer on phones in the depot. Bot is pointless as it just reiterates false delivery updates. Emailed Company who distributed parcel, and that told me parcel was sent to original address, no answer also took back to depot. I didn't receive a docket or email explaining so. Very disappointed in this service

Horrible delivery company and no customer service at all. Got my tracking number in the morning for parcel delivery, was all day at home and no one came or called or left any messages. Parcel was all day in drivers van and at the end of the they they sent me message that attempt to deliver failed as address was incorrect and then 4 minutes later message said was no one to at home left card. If you try to reach Limerick warehouse no one answer a call. Call just drop

Driver pulled up outside my address but never came in. I called 3 times to head office who could not explain why i did not get my delivery. Depot was called and they refuse to answer the phone. When someone does pick up the phone they immediately hang it up. Worst delivery company I have ever worked with.
