Went to the depot on Friday they said the parcel won't be there until Tuesday. Rang this morning 3 times at 9.30 and no1 bothered answering the phone. Never got a text or call letting me know driver was coming today so I went out. Got home to find a "we missed you note". Tried to schedule collection online but the codes they gave me are not working. This is a complete joke of a service. Didn't even bother leaving my parcel with my neighbour...

this is the worst delivery service ever! they always have problems, they never deliver parcels on time. SMS arrives with a time window. I sit and wait. The car drives into the house, turns around and drives away. at the same time, the status in the order changes to "failed". if they have questions about the address, they will not contact or call to clarify. they will just roll your package to your house and back to the warehouse every day! they don't even deserve one star

My first 1 star review ever, can't believe this business is real. Ordered a really expensive electronic product in Harvey Norman(9th May) DPD are just attrocious and incompetent people. There were no tracking updates after the courier picked it up. I called after I waited until 5 PM and these buffoons delivered it to some random phone repair company (Fonefix) in Sandyford today (10th May 2022). They wouldn't be able to do anything when I called them. They said I have to contact Harvey Norman itself.I'm so confused how they can deliver to a random address when the address details stored and then printed from the system. I actually think this is fishy now, it's conveniently been delivered to a repair shop. I don't trust that even if it is returned to the DPD group it's gonna be the same one. Another irritating thing with these people is, they made me juggle to make a call from one depot to another to make a complaint three times. Yet, no solution! Seriously, how much more lazy can you guys be?! No business should consider you people as a partner.

Patrick especially is great, always on time, friendly, and is one of the few people who actually bothers to come and ring the doorbell - instead of sitting on his phone and waiting for you to come to his van. DANNY THE COURIER GUY FROM DPD DUBLIN IS A LIAR! If ever you see danny as your courier man, then forget it. We waiting for a Christmas eve present and this useless liar called danny from dpd who supposed to deliver the courier between 1230 to 1330. Waited till 1600 and didn’t hear anything from him. And rang the customer service and was told that danny isn’t answering the phone at the moment to get an updates on your courier. I never have wrote a review but since i have been put on the long finger by this company i had to! I ordered off a company (designer clothes) and when the dpd driver Kenny came to deliver them he left them at the side of a skip in my front garden!! The parcel was stolen and since this i have been onto DPD and was told "to contact the company so the company can file an investigation and DPD will refund the company and the company will refund me".. The company has been in contact with me everyday and filed an investigation and has emailed DPD everyday (emails to prove this) and DPD has not responded!! I have also called DPD so many times and they keep putting it back on the company. The company has 100% held there end but you have not!! It was your driver that has left me out of pocket and its your company holding up my refund! So unprofessional for such a big company out doing people!

DPD Naas Road delivered my package of posters with the cap missing of one of the tubes and loose posters on the floor of the van amongst the other goods. A rude and obnoxious driver told me I had "two seconds" to make up my mind whether to accept them or not - immediately putting the blame on the sender. With that he returned them to his van without giving me an opportunity to inspect same. The customer service excused his behaviour because he was on "a timed run". No one from the customer service or management returned my call despite ringing them within one minute of the delivery. Subsequently, the package was "lost in transit" in the depot despite having the correct address and tracking number. I am writing this because not only is it factual and I have all the supporting evidence, but like other reviewers here, I hope I never ever see personnel from this company at my door ever again. To describe them as second rate would be a compliment......

DPD received my package on the 12/10/20. Still no sign of it 2 days later, I rang South West Depot to see if they could track my package, I got through to guy who was not a bit helpful and I found him to be rude and passive aggressive I rang customer services on 21/10/20 and got to speak to a very helpful woman called Megan. She sorted out the tracking number and told me that I'll have it the next day. It's now 24/10/20 and STILL NO SIGN of my package. It's in the depot nearly 2 weeks!!!!! I'm fully aware that delivery companies are under pressure at the moment but I'm trying to run my business too. Never again will I use DPD

Only had great experiences with DPD. Hands down the most reliable courrier company in Dublin for me. Had to contact their customer service team multiple times as some senders don't add the phone number on packages.A super helpful person helped solve this and i was delivered afterward each time. Same thing about our local driver, Keith, who is always punctual and very helpful. Thank you to the DPD team South West.
