This is so much more than just a Post Office. It is a place where you feel deep within a Community. A place which has a little Coffee Corner that serves the best coffee tasted anywhere in the World. A corner you can retreat to whilst looking at an interior covered in various cards, items from around the world, little sayings covering the edges of shelves, and a ceiling which is totally immersed in different items leaving no space at all. Like an Aladdin's Cave. And then there is Frank! I wouldn't describe the Post Office as Frank's. I would describe Frank as the Kilcrohane Post Office. It is a place steeped in his Character and Personality that could never belong to anyone else. He will always help out when someone is in need, and his Mercurial personality is as changeable as the Irish Weather, making you feel even more steeped in true Irish culture. You just never know what to expect...so carry an umbrella just in case of any sudden unexpected thunderous downpours. And sunglasses for when he smiles and makes you laugh... which is often. Incredibly loyal and trustworthy Free Soul, who is who he is. No messing around and totally reliable. His word is sacred and if yours isn't.....then "b*gger off elsewhere and go annoy someone else"! An incredibly rare Soul who wears no mask and you therefore never wonder if he's gossiping once you've left. There aren't many on this Earth with such true depth of Honesty + Character. Not anyone who can make sandwiches like his. I consider myself honoured + grateful to have shared some of the last two year's retreating from my old World + Life, to the World in the Coffee Corner I've named "Vagas"...."Whatever is said in Vagas, stays in Vagas"! A Memory which will remain forever, along with many of the other residents in the Village. Thank you Frank!
