Ridiculously bad service. I made sure to take a day of work to be home to receive my delivery. I waited home all day only to get a notification to say that ‘Gary’ (name of the delivery driver) tried to deliver my package but no one was home. Package was subsequently returned to the depot. It was raining so I imagine the driver didn’t bother to even get out of his van. Not the first time I have had problems with this courier!

They would never answer phone calls and their drivers probably work from home, cause they couldnt deliver it to me even I wait them home. Miracle barriers didnt let driver call doorbell. Its happened every second time, drivers just get money for nothing

We have been using DPD for 2 years now. Absolutely highly recommend these people. They actually care, drivers are always polite and courteous even in this mad, mad world. Tracking your parcel is user friendly. To date not 1 item has gone missing. Things obviously go wrong from time to time but the Santry Depot are always extremely helpful when called upon. The staff close the Santry centre 15 minutes early. What a waste to pack up my shipping boxes and drive out to find their staff to leave early and inconvenience their customers. Wish I could close and leave early at my job.

Worst service I have ever met. I booked parcel pick up on Monday and received confirmation that my parcel would be picked up the next day, so the payment was charged on the same day. But today is Wednesday, and my package has not been taken! I can't get through to Depot 8, I wrote an e-mail, but did not receive an answer. Terrible!

AVOID, AVOID AT ALL COSTS - can’t even justify giving it any stars at all only that I need to in order to post this. Shocking lack of service, the WORSE ever!! My item like so many others (as per reviews below)has not been received! Supposedly left in our ‘porch’ which we don’t even have!! Surely when paying and using a courier service it should arrive to the customer and not be ‘supposedly’ left outside on clear view unaware to the person who is awaiting delivery and is actually IN the house on the day?! Whatever you do, DON’T use these ever....

Unreliable 5 out of 5 parcels in the past 2 months were not delivered to the notification period Unlike every other courier service, the driver will not call unless he fails to find the location on google maps I paid for this service and I'm having to call to locate the whereabouts of my parcels to be rescheduled or rearranged for pick up I explained my customers are impacted due to their disorganized process, they didn't offer apologies or refund Dissatisfied service

The most incompetent delivery service I've ever come across, a toddler could run it more efficiently. They constantly lose packages and then lie about it and refuse to answer any of their emails. I don't know how this company is still in business, FedEx should take over and show them how it's done. DPD is clearly run by a bunch of lazy drunk men. Avoid at all costs.

Very low level of customer service. Limited contact You pay for delivery and pick up the package yourself. Parcel redirection is even more of a problem. it's better not to change anything because it's a lot of problems. This company should be paying us to use their services...

Only positive point is they deliver within an alloted 1 hour time. Last 3 orders were terrible. First was thrown over side entrance and said we signed for it. We were on two weeks holiday. Got no notification of delivery. Second was €400 of items in cardboard boxes that was left in the rain again with no notification of delivery. Items were soaked and nearly destroyed. Third was boxed flowers with water that had clear instructions to handle with care and top side up. Box was leaking and contents damaged. Absolutely dread getting delivery from them. Avoid at all cost.

2 times I stayed home to receive packages from Amazon... 2 times I received an email saying no one was home. As I waited for them... Do not bet on them to deliver anything to you. Their system is on paper nice. In reality, one out of 3 deliveries works.

Several times DPD North Dublin couriers have left packages on the doorstep with one package stolen, causing significant time and effort to investigate and resolve. However, couriers continue in this behaviour despite complaint raised. I am reluctant to purchase from online stores that deliver via this courier.

The delivery address was 7minutes from the santry office. I spent 45minutes trying to organize delivery after it went to the wrong address. Ended up picking it up from depot. Normally a great service.

Quite incredibly bad. After making a delivery last week, they turned by reversing across the lawn and flowerbed and colliding with a fruit tree, breaking off a branch. The gardener tried to ask them what they thought they were doing, but with a cheery wave they drove right past him and left. I naturally wrote a letter of complaint, to which I did not receive the courtesy of a reply, but another delivery was made a few days later, to the wrong house and with the contents of the boxes smashed inside. Perhaps this wasn't retaliation. Or perhaps it was. Either way, I will specify on all future orders that DPD not be used. It's not much, but it's all I can do.

I have ordered and paid for dog-food from Equipet on the 30th april which has not arrived with me as yet (10thMay) I live about 2kms from equipet and about 4kms from your depot. I cannot collect this as I am coccooned and your company refuse to answer your phones. I could call your business a joke but it's not funny. I have enough food for tomorrow after that I will have to feed him my fillet steaks and caviar. My tracking number is 929222114 which continues to claim that it is still languishing on yoyr shelves. Please deliver by tomorrow and save the life of a poor defenceless animal (and my dog) Yours, John K. Kenny.

Unreliable I was sent an email late Saturday that a package would be delivered Tuesday October 8th. This morning I get another email that it will be delivered today, Monday October 7, between 12 & 1 pm. I cancel my appointments & wait for it. After 1 :30 pm I get a text that delivery was attempted. No delivery was attempted & no call was made to me as my phone log can prove. I called the driver, he said he tried to deliver. I told him he had to be delivering to the wrong address as I never stepped out of my home & my intercom is working just fine. He said he would deliver it around 5pm. I waited again, at 5:12pm I called the driver, he said he was in Dublin 3 & would deliver this evening. At 5:30 pm I get another text that delivery was attempted, no one home. Again, I have not stepped outside the house. The drive has my phone number so he could have called but didn't. I know without a doubt delivery was not attempted. I also see very negative reviews on Google about DPD's false claims of delivery

Absolutely Terrible company! Don't deal with them , they don't care about customers. I ordered a delivery service to another EU country online, paid with PayPal. Received my confirmation email and tracking numbers/labels. All labels have been printed and attached to the parcel. Parcel was never collected even though I bought door to door service. Contacted customer support two times, they did not reply. Paid with PayPal so now can raise a case to claim a refund. Will repeat again - DO NOT DEAL with this company! Waste of your time and money!
