This post office overcharges all the time. What weights 425g or 475g at home, suddenly weight more than 500g in their post office. For 4 years, I have posted the exact same item from different post offices and the Balbriggan Post Office has always overcharged me. I caught them way to many times. I just boycott it all together now.

I am from the U.S. and had mailed Foreign Birth Documents to a P.O. address for the Foreign Births Section government office in Balbriggan, County Dublin. The Balbriggan postal service was very prompt. I especially appreciate that, because my mail was delayed in the U.S. for quite a while! Thank you Balbriggan postal people!

Complete and utter disgrace I was there with my parents today both my parents being disabled and suffer from minor speech impairment I went to the desk with them I didn't think I need to explain myself to the cashier lady called Kim but immediately she started yelling at my parents at the fact that there were 3 people at the desk. Then she sed my dad can hand he's own I'd to her, they were both at the desk and my mam holds he's documents. I guess my parents are foreign looking (what ever that is) and I think that triggered her and she brought it opon herself to judge my parents she kept screaming at them I was just sitting there baffled at what was happening 2019 and racism is still a thing she, (Kim) kept shouting at my mam she kept critiqueing her every move she sed why does my dad not hand his own check my mam didn't feel the need to discuss my dads disabilities. And they were both at the same desk and my dad has speech impairment and low to no English she wanted to know things that warent relevant. the balbriggan post office has always been good the staff always friendly to me but this lady took out her bad day on the clients I let my parents finish there business after I went to talk to her and tell her attitude is dreadful and told her she was in the rong I asked for her name and she sed Kim I told her to have a nice day she smirked at me and in a really sarcastic way told me to also have a nice day. I turned around and I could see her attitude had affected several of the post office clients they looked baffled at what was happening before there eyes IN MY OPINION being a PAST student of psychology her attitude was racist and discriminating I wounder if my parents looked irish would the situation be different. I walked out and a lady of African origin stopped me and told me she also had similar experience with one of the lady's all my family came here about 18 years ago we all have Irish passports and are Irish citizens and proud my parents and I are extremely disappointed at the on post balbriggan staff it's 2019 and racism still exists.
