Not happy with this service at all. Had a couple of parcels dropped to the wrong house on a couple of occasions now even though address and eircode have been clearly stated!! Had to ring customer services to find out where my parcel was and was told they'd get back to me in an hour...still waiting!! Finally got my delivery late that evening by the good person who had received it at the wrong address that day. Not at all impressed 😒

Not the best service received. Ordered an item from Apple who dispatched it within 24 hrs. However, DPD took over two weeks to deliver. Tried to contact the local DPD depo, not possible, due to receiving an automated message stating mail box was full and to send an email-which was never replied to. Received a number of text messages stating item to be delivered, but it never arrived. Contacted DPD head office and to be fair they did work on this matter to have it eventually delivered- despite it taking two weeks!!!

It's actually astonishing that these guys are still in business... I've had nothing but terrible encounters with them in regards to delivering things on time and even just delivering in general. The contact system is an absolute mess and the UK ones are the only ones who answer a phone and of course they have no clue what the DPD Ireland ones are at.. (I don't think they know themselves). I've pre-ordered things that were due to arrive on the day of release on a Friday and it wouldn't arrive until the following Wednesday or later in some instances whereas others I know are able to get it the day of release with no issues. From reading other reviews I can see I'm not the only one who's had this sort of experience so why isn't anything being done about it? Giving 0 stars should be an option or any company with a low rating like there's should be highlighted to companies to show them how unsatisfied customers are and that it poses a risk to returning customers taking their business elsewhere.

Denny is always on time and when not home he puts the delivery out of the rain in the shed lean by, perfect service. For some reason the other couriers put the package in front of the door in the rain, they are not able to think for themselves. Again super service from the DPD courier Denny👍

Last DPD driver didn't want to have to meet anybody when he was dropping package off. I got no pre delivery email or phone call, got a call to say he was onsite and was going to drop package off and I had no choice the @#$&. The previous package delivered to me by DPD was my Dell laptop, I will choose another courier next time, DPD, AVOID.

3 deliveries in lat month and even though I am working from home, even though there are all details listed on the package, even though there is a mobile phone noted, not once, any of the drivers rang me on mobile or the doorbell to say package arrived. You are just lucky nothing got stolen as Rathmines is a good are cause I don`t know how all these baby stuff (that are quite expensive) would be refunded from DPD Ireland side if someone took them before I collected Shameful

Very hit and miss with deliveries in the past. It often depends on the driver, but it's up to the company to manage and motivate employees! I've used the door-to-door collection service for the first time and wouldn't recommend. You only get the positive and misleading communication!! Nothing to tell me driver had a failed pick-up & no phonecall when attempting pick-up - even though I got a email the day before telling me it was "dispatched"!

Wish they would consider everyone's parcel the same. Whether big or small. Ordered two birthday cards recently from a company only to find out they wouldn't arrive on time as DPD had lost them in the warehouse. Maybe track and trace wasn't working that day. Usually I am impressed with the time and delivery services of DPD but this one experience has made me drop a few stars. However, the customer service team were extremely helpful and done everything they could and understood it was their fault. Thank you for this.

My order of flowers for my godfathers funeral was not delivered on time. Paid for delivery for specific date and it wasn’t shipped until a day later (day of the funeral). Tried calling the depot several time to see if driver could deliver flowers first thing before everyone left for the funeral but no answer. Hugely disappointed, upset, and disgusted. An absolute sham of a service.
