Whoever is Peter the delivery driver is absolutely useless. Got a text my package will be here 6.30-7.30pm, so I stayed around. Time passed, checked on delivery status and it said it was already delivered signed by ME! Package nowhere to be seen. Next day my neighbor came and delivered it to me, said they weren't even home and this Peter guy just dropped it at their door, 7 houses down. A 200 euro package, just left at some random house, great job Peter!

Have always found our local DPD depots in Roscommon & Athlone to provide an efficient & courteous delivery service. A recent order was delayed getting to me because the goods supplier did not use my eircode. I telephoned Roscommon DPD depot and they arranged a special delivery to me on a Saturday morning.

Initially they said my parcel would be delivered between 10 pm and 11 pm! Then I was told they tried to deliver but I wasn't in, which was not true. The reason they got 4 stars from me was down to the very helpful young lady at their Roscommon depot. She tracked my parcel and then arranged for me to collect it from the depot. Perhaps DPD should provide that option when trying to deliver to remote areas which they cannot find.

Paid extra to have my delivery with me by three days. Got a message saying my delivery would be arriving between 1-2pm. I waited at my house looking out for a courier. My post code, correct address and phone number were on the parcel. I got no parcel. When I tracked it - The delivery was signed for and dropped off at my location apparently. (It wasn’t) I rang numerous times and nobody would pick up the phone. They didn’t even try to ring me or knock on my door for the parcel. Completely careless.

AFTER 18 MONTHS DOD FINALLY ADMITTED THAT IT WAS THEM THAT HAD LOST MY PARCEL. AFTER ALL THIS TIME LAPSE THE FIRM THAT SENT IT TO ME ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT ACKNOWLEDING IT. BUT NO DPD WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOE IT. I HAD BEEN GIVEN AN IRISH TRACKING NUMBER AND TOLD IT HAD REACHED ATHLONE HUB...DISAPEARED FROM THERE. ???? NOW WHEN I ORDER ANYTHING ON LINE I ENSURE THAT DPD ARE NOT THE COURIER SERVICE BEING USED BY THE FIRM ALSO ENSURING THAT I TELL THE FIRM AS TO REASONS WHY. THE POLITE AUTOMATED ACKNOWLEDGMENTS THAT YOU GET FROM DPD PLEASE DO NOT BE MISLED , THEY MEAN NOTHING . FOR 18 MONTHS I WAS FOOLED BY THESE MEANINGLESS MESSAGES. INCOMPETENT FIRM..UPDATE THEY THINK I HAVE GONE AWAY..NO BIG MISTAKE I HAVENT. HAD A PREFORMED FISH POND DELIVERED RECENTLY...FROM A FIRM IN IRELAND...ONE CONDITION I PUT IN WAS THAT IF THEY USED DPD AS THEIR COURIERS THEN I WOULD NOT BE ORDERING FROM THEM ...THEY ASSURED ME THAT THEY WOULDNT!! If at all possible, I will not buy from a company that uses this delivery company. There efforts at performing a competent professional service does not exist. They failed to carry out the instructions of the Sender, they claim to have left an Electronics package at the doorstep of what they thought was the right address, without checking if it was, failed to make contact with the occupant, failed to get a signature for the package, were not worried if the package got wet or not. Were unable to say where they left the package, and at what address they delivered it to, that is even if they did deliver it to a wrong address. Were unable to retrieve the package and deliver it to the correct address. When asked to call the person to whom they should have delivered the package, failed to do so eventually through email requested that I should not write an unfavorable review of them asked for more time to try and resolve the issue, this I gave them 4 more days..... and yet they have not been in touch since. I have three previous examples I could give of very poor service from DPD in recent weeks so this is not a one off, hence I will avoid DPD in future and suggest most companies should also avoid using them.

Declan and William ros drivers are deceitful and lazy. They pretend you were out to the boss, whilst not leaving roscommon town. Never use dpd for rural Ireland. DHL and a post so much more honest and actually deliver.

Worst courier service I have ever dealt with I would avoid them again. Parcel was meant to arrive Monday but was sent to wrong address and after me ringing plenty of times getting the run around it finally arrived 5 days late and this was just in Ireland it hadn't left the country. To top it all off the driver drove over my flower pots at the gate and smashed it along with timber surrounding and just kept driving on as if nothing happened I will be taking this Matter further I am not letting this company away with this unprofessional attitude

Hello in my opinion the service at the reception is very rude. So my parcel did not arrive and the lady at the reception did not want to help contact the driver. She tell my that pracel was left at neighbor door at time when I whait on my door and driver not arrived. Next fact is my neighbor dont have pracel so what's going on. I report that to Gardi. But for sure I will not use DPD services anymore!!!!### Postscript My Daughter has an exam today, thank you for the fast delivery of the schoolbooks.

Two times the drivers delivered my parcels at different address. I spend a lot of time try to figure out what happened. On the label - each time - there was my details, but the driver didn't call me. From my point of view, the processes and procedures are not well defined or not followed by the employees or they are too loaded - covering more addresses than usual delivering company
