They fake false delivery attempts! Not even hire! There is no customer service. The phone communicates all the time. The last few weeks they've been faking false delivery attempts. A week ago, for another package, two of us were at home that day and they didn't call anyone, and the next day I find the note that "they've passed." I had to rearrange the delivery and it was up to 5 working days minimum. Fed up with the situation, I went there and hired a taxi to be able to move my box that arrived broken and my belongings fell out of the box because of him!!! This week I was also expecting another box and they have done the same thing again. A messenger from Annpost called me at 7:30 in the morning asking me how I could go to the box!! So why contract a service! They pretended again that they had passed and after two days I received the notification in my mailbox that they had passed. Scoundrels!!. Again I will have to go there for my box because I do not trust that they will deliver it to me again. I was also sending emails, chatting with your chabot on your website, spending hours and money on taxis and they didn't give me a solution. They don't work, and the client has to do his job, it's ridiculous!! I will not hire your service or other companies that use Annpost again.

However there have been a couple of times where they come into the building and actually knock on my door/leave it at my door/ put it in my post boxes weird I have to praise the bare minimum

Even after Months of back and forth with customer support, they still do not deliver the parcels to us. Never. The support always only tell me that they forwarded it to the local delivery office, but after asking in the actual office, some bald fella told me that they do not know the drivers and cannot help, and that i can complain at customer support if I want to. He was very rude so i asked for his name for reference when going back to the support. He replied: "For what? The Guards? I'm not going to give you my name!" - This is a government organisation, what a joke.

There isnt any attempt to deliver the parcel as I have to collect it here. In their website they said we try to reach the customer but there were no answer and that is lie and excuse for the drivers not to deliver. They do that and not allow you to get redeliver option, as they do the write the same excuse so so bad service and disappointing.

Really bad service by Post Ireland. For 12 years this is unfortunately my office. Not finding parcels a couple of times. Not calling to my phone number, reporting nobody is at home when actually I was and not leaving any notice. If you value your goods and deliveries use a private company i.e. UPS works quite professionally.

It's okay when you come to this place to collect your packages. The service if fine: quick and no hassle. The only problem with this place is its location. It's situated in alley sandwiched between two larger roads. Few people actually walk here and the atmosphere and appearance of the road this office is on is neither aesthetically pleasing nor instills any sense of comfort or security. Otherwise it's great.

The worst ever. They close 5 minutes before actual closing time and not let you in. I was waiting for 20 minutes and was 3 in line when the employee came and said they were finished for the day. And no I couldnt come earlier because I was working. i wouldnt even have to come to the post office if the delivery man would actually ring the doorbell or even knock on the door but he just left a note that I wasnt home and need to pick it up myself.

So they left me a BID in my mailbox stating that I should go to this office to get my parcel. I wasted an hour in going there, queuing and waiting just for them to tell me in the end that the parcel wasn't there, and that it *may* be that they have taken it again for delivery. The tracker hadn't been updated since the failed delivery attempt of the day before. Two days after the agreed delivery time and I still don't know where my parcel is. These are boxes I need for my moving to a new place by tomorrow, if I don't get them I don't know how I'm going to pack my stuff before the truck arrives. I ordered them in advance with more than enough time but An Post had to screw it.

Doesnt stick to hours opening hours - I arrived and the door was locked. Staff closed early and then begin conflict with you when you ask for your post? What type of service is this?? I could not believe I was treated in this manner. This guy is so rude, if he doesn’t want to do the job he is paid for maybe he should go sit at home because taking out your bad mental health on people coming to get post is insane. Worst of all - all this could be avoided if they would call or knock on the door. We are all working from home & you are passing the buck saying nobody is home to get the package. Those days are over! We are all home - how about you knock or call like every other postal delivery.

They never ring the apartment bell, they never call your phone qhen delivering, they just said you didnt answert the door without even calling in and they just drop a paper for you to collect it at the office when you paid for delivery to be delivered to your door, not for you to have to collect it later..

Hi there. I suppose to get two internstional packages in total. But I only got 1 instead. Because at first day i got 28th letter and gave it to clerk who is working at rutland place dublin 1 . And at that time i only got 27th package. But i didn't know the date is different and clerk said nothing. When i said i suppose to get two package, he said i rang u but u didn't answer. But this can't be the way clerk do. Even if i missed the call there should be package and there's oviously no call. And he said for me to through the post letter away. After i arrived home i got 27th post. So i was able to notice it's mistake of him. Next day i went there but he just was angry and didn't try to find it, saying u already get the post. He didn't want to hear anything how can i find my post it's very unfair. i just followed the rule and did what he said for me to do What should i do ? And at least could u tell about the manner and how to work to an post clerk please? How can i find my post

All the time I've to collect here. There is no attempt to delivery and sometimes, like this morning for example, Amazon says there was an attempt for delivery but there is not even the card in the mail box. Basically no service. I would love to have a job like this. Update 17th Nov 2020: In the next month I asked to amazon and others online shops to not deliver me using AnPost however some are still delivering to me using their facilities. I would say 95% of the time I got attempted deliveries and today when I went there to collect they lost the parcel. This time I complained loudly and one of them got upset. This guys are really really lucky to have a job during this pandemic period. Update July 2023… another day another dollar for AnPost D1 that “attempts” another fake delivery. You pay for the delivery, you have to go there, saying “good morning” for the office employee it’s an option, and go back to work. By far the worst delivery option that you can have in Dublin. Fortunately for me I’m moving. Good luck to everyone

Service is rude and they are always in a hassle. They often loose packages and have no intention to help. The office is ocatedl in a shady street with shady people. Bad luck for you if you live in Dublin 1, because it's the only place where they deliver. My advice: Get out of Dublin 1 asap and forget about this place.

There was nobody there and 10 minutes later the tracking says "We attempted to deliver your item, Reason: There was no answer at the address.". Very poor service, can't believe this person still has his job despite lying.
