Staff at the service unit is grand. Nothing against them but the An Post service as a whole is a joke. You pay for a delivery service and a lot of the times you still have to collect it. Cuz they are unable to sort parcela efficiently or sometimes not even attempt do deliver and just leave the leaflet for collection. I’ve just recently arranged a parcel to be dropped by a collection point and they sent to the wrong place. Now the parcel is delayed and nobody I came across were able to help. It’s always the same excuse. “Delays and more delays”, “service unit is overwhelmed” blablabla. It’s time to revamp this service by all means. Not reliable at all. Whoever is leading this should be sacked.

Every package that comes with AnPost is not delivered correctly. Everytime the driver puts on the system that there was no answer, but the truth is that they don’t even know how to ring a bell and to make their work easier, just leave at the office to pick up. WHATS THE POINT OF PAYING FOR A SERVICE THAT WE HAVE TO DO BY OURSELVES? YOU PAY TO DELIVER A PACKAGE BUT NEED TO PICK UP EVERYTIME

Everytime I order something, I have to go and collect it because my door has a code to get into and they refuse to leave my package inside. The apetment complex call function doesn't work in the building so that's apparently my fault. They don't even call you to notify if they're there. I paid for delivery so I can collect it myself does that even makes sense.

Every single time , on many occasions, somebody is home all day , but they never bother pressing the buzzer or bell. And always end up collecting from here. Somebody’s wrong with the delivery person that’s assigned in our area.

Always saying they attempted to deliver but it’s a straight up lie! Wasted many days waiting for different deliveries and made the time to stay home for it but they never show up. It’ll just show on the tracking that they “attempted to deliver”. Amazon should use a different carrier. Will be cancelling my Prime subscription as there’s no point if I have to go to the depot to pick up. Worst delivery service provider ever!

If I could give this spot 0 stars I would. Driver didn't bother delivering my parcel to the office as was on the delivery docket. I ended up having to go to the depot to get it. While there I asked the guy behind the counter why their drivers didn't deliver my parcel. He tried to fob me off with " the depot is just undergone some refurbishing". That has absolutely nothing to do with their drives.

Twice for two different items I have gotten a letter saying delivery attempt was made. At the times they claimed to have delivered my package I was home for the whole day as I WFH! I never received any calls at all. Don't know why I am paying for delivery if I have to go and pick up my package anyways every time?!

The delivery guys completely ignore any request you make to them (in my case, that they call me, since the phone in my building doesn't work), and they just leave you the note. They do not understand that for some it is a real problem to have to go to the collection center. Terrible service from An Post.

Just to let the slow people know, a) theres a bell you must ring for service at the counter, and b) it IS open over christmas on saturdays until the afternoon but you must enter in the correct gate....posting pictures of a separate closed gate that is never open, speaks volumes :)

Can't help that An Post doesn't always provide the best service - but the point itself is a clean, nice place and the staff there is helpful and accommodating. It could be located in a more accessible place area though, especially that it serves South Dublin as well.

Absolutely terrible service. I purchased a product from a very reputable U.K. company. The item was sent via first class post (Tracked) along with the required details for customs fee’s. The item was in the Ireland for over 3 weeks with no contact from An Post as to the alleged incorrect customs information and having contacted the original sender, he resubmitted the information 3 times to no avail. I called a very poorly trained and disinterested customer service agent 3 times, requested to speak to a manager to be told that they were busy and emailed customer service with no response. The product has “allegedly” been returned to the original sender untracked, to which they have not received the product as of yet (1 month), yet I am out of pocket €000’s of Euros. Very very poor use of tax payer money!

Terrible service. My package was lost or stolen (left in the lobby when I was absent) and they claim they can do absolutely nothing about it. It was their responsibility to deliver it safely. There was no option to reschedule after one failed attempt. The worst thing is there is no reliable post service in Ireland.

This is the "local" collection office for Donnybrook now? Better hope you don't have to pay customs charges, as they don't do card payments and can't give you change. So you get sent off to the local Centra to get exact change and arrive back to join the back of the queue for another 10 minutes wait.

I came in to collect a parcel in the early morning - there was a bit of queue with all the couriers collecting letters, but the service was very fast. The guy at the counter was polite and served me quickly and with no issues. -1 star because I had requested redirection to a post office, but they tried to deliver twice at the original address and then the parcel got seemingly stuck at the DSU. Wasn't a problem in the end since I could get it there.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Absolute joke of a postal service. Every single time they're delivering a package there is NO attempt to deliver, they just leave a slip every single time, despite myself being home all day waiting on packages. The unit is far from me and extremey inconvienient to get to without a car/within their working hours that don't conflict with my own. I don't know who is responsible for these delivery "attempts" but they are clearly inept at their job and have never once just delivered an item. I am not "missing deliveries", they just don't deliver. Lazy.
