What can I say up to their old tricks they don’t even knock the door OR drop a docket off saying they missed you. They literally just update me saying they missed me and the issue is due to their supreme laziness I don’t even have a docket to collect the post. Fair enough you’re lazy and want to cut corners just give me the docket so I can go collect it it’s no problem. But this is a new low not even bothered delivering the docket so even though I was home all day when they said it would be delivered, I can’t even go and collect it

Another horrible experience with anpost. Looking at reviews it seems its standard practice. Parcel from amazon dhl gave to anpost to deliver never received tracker update. Spent full day at home no door knock no door bell nothing. Found sorry we missed you letter in letter box. 2023 and this is still normal where anpost employee just gets into estate and anything that doesn't fit into letter box he doesn't even attempt to deliver just writes note and drives it back. It was very optimistic from amazon to expect this crew to deliver 12kg box in apartment block.

Pretending that they tried to deliver my packages. At home all day. No docket in the letterbox. How is An Post allowing this depot to get away with the pure laziness. Rang customer service and even they are sick of this depot as so many of us are calling to complain and query where are packages are. Will have to wait until Monday in the hope they give me my package without a docket

Terrible service, won't release my parcel without the docket even when I'm able to provide all the details, staff extremely unhelpful enjoying me wasting my time. They can't simple send me an email to let me pick it up or a text message like any other postal company they prefer to stick to physical letters like it's still 1990s, avoid whenever possible.

Lazy postman not even trying to ring the bell or call the phone. Since two years every anpost delivery I need to collect from the depot because I am “never at home” but some how I’m working from home and not even once seen the guy trying to attempt. Many complains send and zero response.

On top of that they make you feel terrible with their “we missed you” option. I didn’t miss anything An Post, you didn’t even knock the door. It’s wasting my time and money. Not sure why the delivery people drops the leaflet in the mailbox at all , they might as well send an email to just say come collect your package at the post office. Annoying service when you can be at home all day waiting for them and they have the time to drop the leaflets in the mailbox but no time to ring the bell or call the phone number to say they are outside. What's the point 😡

I received a note on December 22 that they missed me while I was all day home. They didn't even knock the door or tried to ring me. Their re-delivery service says there's no guaranteed timeframe for delivery but it should happen within 5 working days, and if it doesn't happen I should write (no indication whatsoever for a suitable email address or CS number). Even booking the re-delivery service on their website was a challenge. At this point, I understand from other reviews that if I want the parcel I need to go and pick it up myself at the depot. Thank you for making me miss Christmas presents with my family.

Was home all day. Then I looked at my post box and they left a note informing me they came to deliver but no one was home. I home 4 dogs at home which all bark at the slightest noise of knocking or the ringing bell going off. They simply threw the note in without even knocking. It's not the first time either. I would never choose this service if another option is available. They wasted my time and money.

Well considering we are in lock down and couldn't possibly be anywhere else I still got a missed delivery docket while I was in my apartment. Never bothered to ring bell and there is a complete power hungry jobsworth down in that depot.. I despise an post and the sooner they're gone the better.. There are much better private courier services other there without the entitled attitude

Yesterday I went to the Tallaght depot to pick up my package. It was 6.20 pm. I cannot wear the mask because I have health problems. One Man made me put on the mask because he said that if I don't wear the mask, he will not return my package. I don't know his name. I was so stressed out that I forgot to ask. Your employee discriminates against sick people who have medical contraindications for wearing masks. this is disgusting behavior.He is an older, short man with glasses and gray hair.

Went to collect a parcel tonight, There must have been 20 people there and the guy was on his own. A very pleasant lad who was handling the situation well but was clearly under a lot of pressure. He said the collection office was reduced from 2 to 1 person. This definitely wasn't fair on him or the people waiting.

Never deliver to apartments. Terrible service, leave notes saying sorry we missed you. I've been working from home for 2 years, I'm always home! They don't bother, , they don't even load it in the van I've been told by on post themselves that this is the case. Absolute shambles. If I had an option of couries to use when purchasing I would never pick An Post.

They never deliver, they only "Attempt to deliver" by design. This is very poor option for delivery, they never attempt to call a bell, not to mention giving a phone call. They only silently leave a letter so you could later collect the package from their depot. Considering that we pay each time for the service - this is a disgrace. It is also worth mentioning that every time I go to the depot, I have to wait at least 10 minutes for somebody to show up at the counter. They like you to wait, maybe it empowers them ...

I haven't ever had a problem with an post on till today. At around 5.30pm I arrived to collect my registered post. I had my son with me, there was also a woman waiting to collect. There was a bit of a waite before been actually been served, while waiting I was on the phone. Soon as I seen the small doors open I imiditly ended the phone call and a man called next. I walked up to the counter as I was 1st in the queue and the man called the woman behind me. I told him I was here 1st in the queue, he said he wasn't serving me because I was on the phone. The phone call ended before the small doors even got open, what I couldn't understand was what business was it of this man's that I was on the phone before going to the counter. I wasn't on the phone when aproching the counter so what was his problem. I asked for to speak his manager and he replied "I'm the manager". In the end I was served by another member of staff, the whole experience left me feeling very up set, anxious after been hunlmuliated and belittled by this man.

Lazy guys, sometime I collect my parcel with tracking number and then when I collect, 3 or 4 days after I get on my mail Box that I can collect the package. Or the best one is I went there to collect the parcel, and they say, guy is going to deliver to your house, ofc it never happen, then I come back around 18o'clock to collect, and again 3-4 days after I get in mail box that I can collect the parcel.. Lazy guys. I never seen that with others. I never do bad reviews, but 3 years I am here and 3 years the same story.

My parcel is missing. Says on their track and trace website that my parcel is in the office, plus I received a docket to collect it from the office, but the person in charge in the office said it's not there and he does not know where my parcel is. Very bad service, staff are always unhelpful and very unapproachable. I don't know why these people are allowed to keep their jobs. Packages rarely get delivered when tracking say they have been "attempted". Staff blatantly admitted that they don't ring doorbells or knock, they just mark packages as "attempted". When you track your package and say it's in the depot for days, you don't get a docket and they will insist that they don't have it and it's somewhere else. I have missed birthday presents and equipment I need for work because of their laziness and delay they constantly cause. AN POST DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE PEOPLE PLEASE!!!

Cycled home quick to jump into car and drive down to collection point, there ws again one guy - it was 20 min to 7.pm. There was 4 lads including me left in the office and he just bluntly closed the shutters and refused to service us. Extremely disappointed with An Post, stagnated attitude. If you advertise your opening hours then you will not be thrown out of a shop etc. however last customers entering the premises will be serviced. Ridiculous and stagnated institution which has injected to its employees also. Government institution where people are sitting their finger in behind and willing to improve f.all
