The staff looks prepared to fight you. Can't really complain, given the amount of issues they have with the parcels. However, even tho they look like they're not allowed to smile, sooner or later (usually 1 hours later) they still find your parcel (the one which the courier that never showed up, couldn't find you home). Other drivers are extremely amazing, going the extra mile to ensure a safe parcel delivery.

Not so expressed with the last service I got, they said they would deliver within a certain time & delivered 2 hours late, & it is supposed to be "delivered" after paying but the guy asked me to come down to actually collect it myself, maybe because I have tennis elbow at the moment I was not expressed that I had 2 carry my parcel up 2 flights of stairs myself which was fairly heavy. I have had DPD deliver before & no problems at all everything was "delivered" to my door no problem & on time, do we'll have 2 see next time they deliver 🤞

Absolutely useless from start to finish - lost my item twice, sent it back to the UK twice and I was then told by the Service Agent 'she can't call the UK branch that's for me to do'. I paid 39euro for a 500g item to be delivered and after 5 weeks of my getting hung up on by countless agents after they realised my case wasn't straight forward - item was delivered damaged. Dpd are useless. Switching my business shipping to other carriers after realising how bad they are to deal with from a personal perspective.

Why cant I give 0 stars. Absolute disgrace. They send you a delivery time and then their over 2 hours late. Then had to walk 5 mins to collect delivery because driver was too busy. All this wouldnt be too bad if I could contact them to find out what was going on. Judging by other reviews I dont know these cowboys are in business.

DPD are the absolute worst delivery service in Dublin. Avoid at all costs and go with An Post or Fastway.

Worst service, definitely never using again. My wife and I are expecting a delivery of internet equipment from Virgin and the driver didn't deliver our package twice (and counting)! The first time, the delivery was sent on Dec 30 (even though it was scheduled to Jan 3rd), I told to DPD rep that I don't have keys to the apartment but it's ok as long as the driver calls me and I'll come to pick it up (it's a 5 minutes walk). The driver didn't call and we got a message that he tried to contact us when obviously it didn't. Reached a rep again and we agreed to reschedule for today. Again, I reached out today to a rep through live chat, and the rep confirmed that the driver will call me when he arrives (PFA transcript). Again, the driver didn't call and left us without the equipment and there's no one we can talk to. I can't express how disappointed we are with this service. I'm sure that I don't need to tell you that internet connection is crucial to our work and living and we were counting on having it today.

The courier who delivered my package, Neru, did not come in the time slot that they told me about, he arrived 20 minutes later. This means that I had to lose an hour and a half of my work, since I work outside the home and I had to go home to wait. Who pays me for that lost time from my work!??. There even more. When this Neru arrives, he parks and gives me my package, which was very heavy because it was a piece of furniture. I tell him if he can't at least take it to the Portal of my building and to this he answers that he can't leave the van unattended because they can steal it. In my robbery area there is neither a bad area nor is it at all. My building portal was 50 meters away. The only thing he did was leave me the trolley and I had to act as a messenger!! I couldn't even handle that weight or know how to handle that device. This is unbelievable, that customers have to do the work that couriers are paid to do. I will never contract with DPD again

Some personal items left in the UK and shipped by DPD caused me no end of trouble. DPD would accept nothing except for me to authorise them to pay import duty and VAT. I went to Customs at Dublin Airport and obtained a form from them. Once completed I scanned to DPD Customs Team. They presented the form to the Revenue office and once accepted my property was released and delivered the same day. DPD were courteous and friendly in my interactions despite holding their line while I resolved the problem.

After countless attempts got them on the phone and managed to change delivery to pickup point and next message was saying I wasn’t at pickup point so they couldn’t deliver. Since now I will be checking which company is going to deliver. If it’s going to be dpd I won’t order

Deliveries are always right on time! Alan delivers out parcels to us in Darndale and always goes out of his way to make sure we receive them. Last week , I ordered from one of the big toy retailers and he knocked on the door first to make sure that it was okay to deliver them ( I have 3 young kids). This is an amazing service that you would never get with any other company. I wish I could have all my parcels delivered via DPD!

Chasing my delivery around Dublin..... From home delivery not delivered, rearranged to a collection point but it stayed in the depot. So arranged for collection at depot when I found out which one via UK support number. When I arrived it was out in the van.... Eventually got it at home that afternoon. I received notification that it would be delivered between 14.30 and 15.30 at 15.00 when it was outside.

They delivered a new Virgin Media box, on the wrong day. Driver then scanned the label from inside the box to show he had picked up the return items. He said he would come back the next day. He never came back.

So parcel supposed to be delivered on Friday, get a message to say parcel delivered 🤔 eventually when I get through to talk to someone after multiple calls I was told " yeh that was delivered to our Dublin Central office and not my address " I asked why this would happen to be told "oh it just happens" so when will I get my parcel , well you should have it on Monday, and right enough I get an update "parcel to be delivered between 10 and 12 on Monday, take time off to wait and nothing, then I get a email to say parcel delivered at 1540 to Dublin Central Office 🙄 so the driver took the parcel out for a little trip around Dublin and then brought it back to where he got it from in Dublin Central Office, outstanding work from all involved 😒 and again can't get anyone oh the phone
