0 stars pathetic service. Adrian was meant to deliver between 5 and 6pm. Tracking says couldn't make contact at 17.08 and 17.12 parcel is already returned to depot. Yet there's 5 of us in the house all day with 2 cars parked outside. Absolute rubbish of a company. Birthday ruined as present was not delivered as promised. STAY AWAY FRIM THESE PEOPLE

Possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. First they lost a very high value item of mine by delivering it to an Amazon wear-house instead of the intended address. Secondly when making a collection request their site clearly states to call your local depot to arrange a collection, any time I call the depot the customer service team tell me I have to make a new label to arrange a collection? What sense does that make! Any attempt to arrange a collection they will try their best no to do it. Please avoid this company they will waste your time be extremely unhelpful, rude and are just a very poorly organised business.

Absolute joke of a company. Apparently my parcel was delivered to my house (i was home for the time of delivery and no one called ) but they claim it was signed for by someone with a made up name, not the recipient of the parcel. When I pressed for proof of delivery the sender sent me the signature which is literally a line on a page. The driver Patrick clearly couldn't be bothered to deliver my package. When you call DPD all they say is they will get the driver to call you back but they never do. No responsibility for anything I'm now without my package and the money I paid for it. Avoid them at all cost

Delivery apparently failed as they not find my locations bar the fact they have postal code and deliver daily to my neighbour. I got a text from them with a delivery time so clearly they had my number. I was at home all day also Tracking app also shows correct address. No call and package back at the depot now. Very poor service.

DPD has a curious standard of being bad in absolutely everything they do in several countries (won't tell all because I — gladly — didn't tried on all they serve). Delivering is a joke for them, not a single drop of seriousness on their service. I might be mistaken and there are some good courriers that actually do their job, or might be correct when I say they train their employees to be absolute useless (this one would be very disturbing). Absolutely to run away of!

I gave DPD a chance to rectify this but they’ve made the situation worse. I had a parcel due yesterday. There was no time frame given in the text or email I received (evidence attached) so I waited in for the day. By half 5 it still wasn't in the hall so I checked the tracking and it showed at 5:35pm that the driver tried to call me. I received no calls. All parcels are meant to be left in the postboxes in the block hallway and I can't even recall the last time I received a call about a parcel. I called the depot at 5:48pm from my partners phone. A man answered, I tried to fully explain the situation and was cut off and asked for the tracking number. I provided it and was put on hold. I was on hold for several minutes and then I was hung up on. I called the depot back on the same phone and the phone was left to ring out for over 5 minutes. I decided to call at the same time on my personal mobile while still calling on my partners phone. Immediately the original call was answered and put on hold without any consultation. The call from my mobile was left to ring out. The original call was disconnected at 6pm. Today I’m assured it’ll be delivered. I get a text and email confirmation for 4-5pm. I sit facing my window and working on my laptop for the entire day, I check tracking during the window of delivery only to find the same message “driver tried to call… returned to depot”. I didn’t receive any call again and better still, the DPD van wasn’t even in my complex today! Been calling Depot 29 for almost 20 minutes on two different phones and the line has been ringing out constantly. Shameful carry on. Edit: February 9th: I finally got through to the Depot - only because I called on a private number, they answered straight away, what a surprise. Manager admitted that the drivers never came to the complex on both days. Couldn’t tell me why staff didn’t answer the phone for nearly two days or why I was hung up on the first day. Reported to the sender to make them aware of this. Edit: The exact same thing happened again only a few short weeks later

Got an email from DPD giving timeline of my delivery. Waited two hours and entered tracking number. Item was shown as delivered to me. On checking with DPD Cork I found that my package was delivered to an address miles from me despite proper address on label. Arranged with DPD, at their insistence, to meet courier along the route as package was urgent. Courier eventually rang me, very difficult to understand, and said he couldn’t retrieve my package. Gave up and told him to return to sender if he ever managed to track it down.

Raining heavily all day and the delivery guy walks up and leaves a cardboard box outside my door. No knock on the door or ringing of the bell. We had a car in the drive so it was obvious someone was home. They just don't care. Forwarded on bell video to their depot but not expecting anything to change. UPDATE: It's been 4 weeks since I emailed their depot hq in little island Cork. No email reply back. They just don't care.

Very dissapointed in DPD recently. About a month ago, I waited for them to deliver my parcel within given timeframe in the message I got that morning, however, drived did not show up. I needed to leave my home, and after few hrs, I got notification that my parcel was delivered and that I signed for it, which was not true, but I thought that one of my neighbours took it over. I came home, and saw that my parcel was left on the street in front of the enterance door. Since it’s busy street, I’m surprised nobody took it, but my parcel was opened, and box was completely damaged. Thankfully, nothing was missing. Than again, last week there was a parcel to be delivered, and I got message on Thursday for delivery. I wasn’t in Ireland, so I changed the date immediately for Monday. Next day, on Friday, I got a call from driver that he’s at the address. I explained that I’m not in Ireland, I already changed the date, and driver informed me that he’ll try again on Monday as requested. I waited the whole day on Monday, and driver was supposed to be there between 3 and 4 PM. Nobody rang the doorbell, or called me. When I checked tracking number, there was info that delivery was attempted, but nobody responded. In all that mess, I called customer serivce, who were very uncomfortable, rude and had no answer to my questions, just kept throwing at me that they tried to deliver my parcel every day since Thursady, even though I requested Monday immediately when parcel arrived at destination. Next day parcel was delivered. However, all in all, they kept blaming me for delivery being lated, even though they drivers leave parcels on the street, or don’t try to deliver them at all.

My items were not addressed correctly, called up dpd Dublin hill ,cork . Spoke with a great guy called mark who check delivery number and arranged delivery for today, I even had a follow up from mark today to ensure I have gotten my delivery.fantastic and empathetic to customers needs , if more companies had staff like mark , they would maintain a strong customer base

Unfortunately zero stars isn't an option for this bunch of true genuine scumbags and that may seem harsh but this is a good one boys and girls. So it was my mother's birthday a few weeks ago and we ordered flowers. Delivery day came and no sign of the driver so I later notice something laying in the garden and guess what it's my mum's flowers which seemed a strange place to find them but luckily we have CCTV so we checked it out and guess what....... Driver pulls up outside our wall gives a look left then a look right and boom slam dunks the flowers into the garden I couldn't believe my eyes what an actual scumbag. DPD DISRESPECTFUL PATHETIC DRIVER DAMAGED PARCEL DELIVERY !!! AVOID !!!

Delivery was suppose to be between 6-7 Driver made up a story that I wasn't there and had returned to warehouse I arrived next morning to the warehouse and surprise the package was no good as it had frozen goods and the package had defrosted then found out he didn't even attempt to deliver it as there was a problem with one of the vans no label outlining frozen products not happy at all
